When I first spoke with Allie and Steve last summer, I have to admit I was a little intimidated by Steve’s photography skills (Emmy award winning videographer hello!!!) so when they said they wanted me to capture their engagement and wedding, my initial reaction was like why? Lol

I’m so glad that I did! Spending time with them in Jersey City at the dive bar they met in and that I fell in love with as well was awesome. I really loved hanging out with them and can’t wait to go back and spend more time with them in their beloved city!

Their wedding day was also pure perfection. Their friends and family were so much fun and traveled far and wide to witness these two perfect lovebirds tie the knot. The venue was gorgeous, the wedding parties were gorgeous, the flowers were out of this world, the band was epic and so was the party.

I loved all the sentimental aspects of their wedding as well including a bottle of wine Allie’s aunt purchased for them a long time ago they incorporated into their ceremony. The beautiful religious aspects and the sweet first dance (absolutely LOVE the song Everywhere by Fleetwood Mac).

I’m so grateful to know Allie and Steve! I cannot wait to see them again and hear even more about their worldy travels and Steve’s incredible artistic talent (and I just love talking to Allie! She’s so positive and amazing).
